Fundraisers

The Junior League of Seattle Hockey Night was held at the Civic Ice Arena on October 10, 1951. The game pitted the Seattle Ironmen against the Tacoma Rockets from the Pacific Coast Hockey League. The proceeds from the event went to provide supplementary financial aid for deaf children, care for children with cleft palates at the Northwest Orthodontia and Prosthodontia Clinic at the University of Washington, and scholarships at the University of Washington in creative dramatics.
